Search settings — Select newer documents for higher ranking

Lexprompt WRITE allows you to have results from newer files ranked higher than results from older files.

To have results from newer files ranked higher than results from older files, click on the Settings tab of the add-on pane
Then, click add a check mark in box next to “Newer documents are more relevant.”

Our algorithm adds weight to results from newer files or files that have the latest revisions. For example, text blocks (or sentences) with latest revisions and improvements to your text appear higher in the results list. Note that the results are not simply sorted by date, so that overall relevance of the results (based on the text entered in the document or selection of text in the document) is weighed together with how recently the source document has been revised or created.
